Professional Development
We run several faculty development workshops on teaching with Alice, ranging in length from a few hours up to a week. We also occasionally run Alice workshops for students. Some of our more recent activities are detailed below.
2008
March- Workshop for beginning Alice teachers at SIGCSE.
June
- Weeklong workshop for high school teachers (supported by an NSF ITEST grant) in Oxford, MS.
- Two-week workshop for high school teachers (supported by an NSF ITEST grant) in Charleston, SC.
- Two-week workshop for middle school teachers (supported by an NSF ITEST grant) in Durham, NC.
July
- Follow-up weeklong workshop for high school teachers (supported by an NSF ITEST grant) in Oxford, MS.
